Parents Stories

Joseph

We never saw it coming, the feeling of elation to utter devastation within minutes. The day we found out that our son, Joseph, would most likely not survive was every parent's nightmare come true. After the crying, we gathered every bit of information we could to make the right decisions for us. It was only then we were able to go on to enjoy every precious moment of our son's life. We loved him from the first moment we knew he was alive and we always will.

Angela

“Your daughter's condition is incompatible with life.” I was shocked, heartbroken and 18 weeks pregnant. We decided to continue whatever life we could give her. The following months were unbelievable lonely. At 37 weeks she was born. That an angel! Ten minutes later she was gone. She was worth all the pain and uncertainty. She was our baby.

Francis

After three years of infertility, we conceived, what a joy! Only to discover at 13 weeks gestation that the baby had multiple birth defects. I felt blind sided. We took several days to gather information and ourselves. We decided to wait.

Francis was born at 39 weeks and died inn our arms. He gave us his greatest gift, love.
